"Inilah ibumu!"

 

Yoh 19:25	Dan dekat salib Yesus berdiri ibu-Nya dan saudara ibu-Nya, Maria, isteri Klopas dan Maria Magdalena.
Yoh 19:26	Ketika Yesus melihat ibu-Nya dan murid yang dikasihi-Nya di sampingnya, berkatalah Ia kepada ibu-Nya: "Ibu, inilah, anakmu!"
Yoh 19:27	Kemudian kata-Nya kepada murid-murid-Nya: "Inilah ibumu!" Dan sejak saat itu murid itu menerima dia di dalam rumahnya.
Yoh 19:28	Sesudah itu, karena Yesus tahu, bahwa segala sesuatu telah selesai, berkatalah Ia?supaya genaplah yang ada tertulis dalam Kitab Suci?:"Aku haus!"
Yoh 19:29	Di situ ada suatu bekas penuh anggur asam. Maka mereka mencucukkan bunga karang, yang telah dicelupkan dalam anggur asam, pada sebatang hisop lalu mengunjukkannya ke mulut Yesus.
Yoh 19:30	Sesudah Yesus meminum anggur asam itu, berkatalah Ia: "Sudah selesai." Lalu Ia menundukkan kepala-Nya dan menyerahkan nyawa-Nya.
Yoh 19:31	Karena hari itu hari persiapan dan supaya pada hari Sabat mayat-mayat itu tidak tinggal tergantung pada kayu salib?sebab Sabat itu adalah hari yang besar?maka datanglah orang-orang Yahudi kepada Pilatus dan meminta kepadanya supaya kaki orang-orang itu dipatahkan dan mayat-mayatnya diturunkan.
Yoh 19:32	Maka datanglah prajurit-prajurit lalu mematahkan kaki orang yang pertama dan kaki orang yang lain yang disalibkan bersama-sama dengan Yesus;
Yoh 19:33	tetapi ketika mereka sampai kepada Yesus dan melihat bahwa Ia telah mati, mereka tidak mematahkan kaki-Nya,
Yoh 19:34	tetapi seorang dari antara prajurit itu menikam lambung-Nya dengan tombak, dan segera mengalir keluar darah dan air.

RENUNGAN

Bunda Maria merupakan sosok Ibu bagi semua, karena Bunda Maria merupakan Ibunda Yesus, sehingga kita menghormati Bunda Maria sebagai Bunda kita juga sesuai dengan pesan terakhir Yesus kepada kita semua manusia. Inilah ibumu merupakan pesan Tuhan Yesus kepada kita semua manusia. Sebab Bunda Maria sangat berjasa dalam melahirkan Putera Allah Yesus Kristus. 

DOA

Ya Tuhan Yesus Terima Kasih Ya Tuhan

Engkau memberikan Bunda Mu Yang Kudus sebagai Ibu kami

Ijinkanlah kami dekat dengan Bunda Mu Ya Tuhan

Sebab Engkaulah Tuhan Kami kini dan sepanjang segala masa

John 19:25

Near the cross of Jesus stood His mother, His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

John 19:26

When Jesus saw His mother there, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to her, "Woman, here is your son,"

John 19:27

and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

John 19:28

Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty."

John 19:29

A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips.

John 19:30

When He had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

John 19:31

Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.

John 19:32

The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other.

John 19:33

But when they came to Jesus and found that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.

John 19:34

Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.

REFLECTION

Mother Mary is a figure of Mother for all, because Mother Mary is the Mother of Jesus. Therefore, we honor Mother Mary as our Mother too, in accordance with the last message of Jesus to all of us. "Here is your mother" is the message of Lord Jesus to all of humanity. Mother Mary is greatly significant for giving birth to the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

PRAYER

O Lord Jesus, thank You, O Lord.

You have given Your Holy Mother as our Mother.

Allow us to be close to Your Mother, O Lord,

For You are our Lord now and forever.
