Mrk 6:6 | Ia merasa heran atas ketidakpercayaan mereka.
DOA
Ya Tuhan Yesus aku percaya kepada Mu Ya Tuhan
Ya Tuhan Yesus aku percaya kepada Mu Ya Tuhan
Kuasa Mu begitu besar
Sertai aku selalu Ya Tuhan
agar aku berjalan benar di dalam Mu
Sebab Engkaulah Tuhan dan penyelamat kami
Amen
ENGLISH
**Mark 6:1-6**
1. Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples.
2. When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. "Where did this man get these things?" they asked. "What's this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing?
3. Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him.
4. Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home."
5. He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.
6. He was amazed at their lack of faith. Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village.
**REFLECTION**
In this verse, the Lord Jesus felt dishonored in His own hometown, among His family and relatives, because they thought they knew Him as the son of a carpenter and the son of Mary, who was at that time a carpenter’s wife. Therefore, many people did not believe in the Lord Jesus, as they perceived Him as an ordinary man, not seeing Him as the Savior of mankind.
As a result, there were few miracles there, although there were some healings through the laying on of Jesus' hands. Eventually, the Lord Jesus felt amazed at their lack of faith, left them, and went to teach in the villages.
**PRAYER**
O Lord Jesus, I believe in You, O Lord
Your power is so great
Always be with me, O Lord
So that I walk rightly in You
For You are our Lord and Savior
Amen
