Mrk 10:48 | Banyak orang menegornya supaya ia diam. Namun semakin keras ia berseru: "Anak Daud, kasihanilah aku!" |
Mrk 10:49 | Lalu Yesus berhenti dan berkata: "Panggillah dia!" Mereka memanggil orang buta itu dan berkata kepadanya: "Kuatkan hatimu, berdirilah, Ia memanggil engkau." |
Mrk 10:50 | Lalu ia menanggalkan jubahnya, ia segera berdiri dan pergi mendapatkan Yesus. |

ENGLISH
**Mark 10:46-52 (NIV)**
**46** Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging.
**47** When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
**48** Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
**49** Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He's calling you.”
**50** Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.
**51** “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”
**52** “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
REFLECTION
The Lord Jesus Christ listens to the cries of His people. He pays great attention to those who believe and call out to Him. He did not ignore the blind man who was cast aside; it was the compassion of Jesus that called the blind man to come closer to Him.
Jesus asked with love, "What do you want me to do for you?" This means that Jesus heard the blind man's plea, and the blind man expressed his desire to see. At that moment, Jesus performed a miracle, giving sight to the blind man.
With affirmation, Jesus said, "Go, your faith has healed you!" The blind man's strong faith allowed him to see. All the miracles of Jesus can happen as long as we have faith and fully trust in Him.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus Christ,
You love Your people who call out to You.
Bless me so that I may always spread Your gospel.
For You alone are the savior in my life.
Amen.
